EDIT CONTENT page

The editing interface of a content already uploaded to the system can be accessed by clicking on the PEN icon in the summary table of the CONTENTS menu item, which appears in front of the title of the content.

In addition to the permanent main menu on the left, the middle bar of the editor interface (Content) contains the permanent fields for uploading and editing content that have already been filled in, and the custom fields corresponding to each content type used in the repository.

On the right-hand side of the screen, you will find the Settings for content settings and content saving, which you have already filled in:

• Page: set the public or password-protected, closed page or pages that will display the content.
• Canonical: set to canonical for the content in question.
• Content Type: select the content type of the given content.
• Status: set the status of the content.

If a repository uses content types that require additional settings on the part of the user, these settings will appear in the interface under the settings above.

At the end of the settings bar are buttons to save the content (SAVE) and to view the saved content (VIEW IN BROWSER).

The editing interface of the EDIT CONTENT and NEW CONTENT pages contain the same editing functions, except that in the case of manual upload of new content, the editable fields that depend on the mandatory content settings (title, page, content type) do not yet appear on the page, they are only displayed after these content settings have been made.
