Upload new content manually
When manually uploading a new content:
- Go to CONTENTS on the administration interface.
- In the menu item interface, press the CREATE button to get accesses to the editor interface for manually uploading new content.
- First, you need to fill in the TITLE field at the top of the Content bar: this contains the title of the content that will appear on all pages linked to the repository (for public pages, the title entered here will also be the basic keyword set for the integrated automatic SEO service.)
- In the Settings bar, you need to select the page associated with the content you want to display.
- The selected page is then displayed as the default setting for the Canonical setting associated with the content. (Of course, you can change the canonical for multiple pages managed in the repository.)
- In the Settings bar, select the content type of the content to be uploaded (if only one content type is used by the repository, it will be displayed as default).
- After selecting a content type, the Content bar will display the custom fields that can be filled in for that content type.
- Once the custom fields have been filled in, the content is saved (i.e. uploaded) using the SAVE button at the bottom of the Settings bar.
- After saving, the URL of the content is displayed in the URL field below the TITLE field (you do not need to fill in the field manually, the URL is generated automatically after the first save).
- The status of the content is set with the status option in the Settings bar, if you select "draft" the content will not appear on the selected page, if you select "final" the content will be published on the page.
- Press the VIEW IN BROWSER button at the bottom of the Settings bar to view the published page (if canonical is selected and the content status is "final").
IMPORTANT!
When uploading new content, the following three settings must be made first:
• Address
• Page
• content type
Without these settings the system will not save the content!
Once saved, the content is automatically given a separate ID in the system and is included in the summary table available in the CONTENTS menu of the administration interface. The content can then be edited from this list by clicking on the PEN icon in front of the content title (TITLE) on the EDIT CONTENT page.
To manually upload the next new content, press the CREATE button available in the CONTENTS menu interface again.
