NEW CONTENT page

Pressing the CREATE button on the CONTENTS menu item will access the editor interface for manually uploading new content.

In addition to the permanent main menu on the left, the middle bar of the editor interface (Content) contains the permanent fields for uploading and editing content (TITLE, URL): A after the necessary custom content settings have been entered, the system-generated custom fields corresponding to certain content types used in the repository also appear here.

On the right-hand side of the screen, you can find the tools (Settings) for content settings and saving content:

  • Page: set the public or password-protected, closed page or pages that will display the content.
  • Canonical: set to canonical for the given content.
  • Content Type: select the content type of the given content.
  • Status: set the status of the content.

If a repository uses content types that require additional settings on the user side, these settings will appear on the interface under the settings above.

At the end of the settings bar, you can find buttons to save the content (SAVE) and to view the saved content ( VIEW IN BROWSER ).

The editing interface of NEW CONTENT and EDIT CONTENT pages contains the same editing functions, except that when you manually upload new content, the editable fields that depend on the mandatory content settings (title, page, content type) are not yet displayed on the page, they will only be displayed after these mandatory content settings have been made.
